 There are a series of fallen trees along the trail - it turns this short trek into a bit of an obstacle course. This was one of the most tricky areas as the trail does appear to continue to the left however, to stay on the Indian Springs Trail conti
 At one time, this was likely a helpful hiking sign. However after the fire, little is left to point hikers in the right direction. To stay on the trail, continue up and to the right. No need to climb over the trees to the left - there will be plenty

 At approximately one and half miles into the hike, this sign is located on a tree to the right of the trail.  To continue on the short hike to "Indian Creek Hill", head to the left. The trail will continue straight ahead for another 4.8 miles t
 To continue on the trail to "Indian Springs", follow the trail straight ahead here. For a much shorter hike to "Indian Creek Hill", turn left here.

 While we enjoyed our time in the forest, this hike was not our favorite. We do plan to return to the area to complete the Indian Springs hike and check out the Yellow Creek Trail as well. As has been our previous experience in Plumas National Forest
